The ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Foundation Job-Ready Alumni Forum series is an open discussion on how alumni found their way to ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ and how the college positioned them for local internships, workforce preparation, and/or transfer to a four-year university.ÌýIt explores the relationships between ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ and local industries and how these relationships help students transition into the workforce. The intended audience includes current students, returning adult learners in career transition, and community members.Ìý
A question-and-answer session follows the hour-long panel discussions. The conversation features ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Alumni as they discuss their progression from student to intern, to a full-time employee. Industry professionals discuss the skills and experience that ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ students and alumni bring to the workforce and how well-prepared they are for the workplace.
Our next event will take place at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 7 via Zoom webinar and will feature ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ's Fitness Training and Exercise Science program.Ìý
The six-member panel features business owners, certified trainers, a health coach, and a chiropractor, all of who are graduates of the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ programs or industry partners. They will discuss their educational path, current industry trends, and the various career pathways in the field of kinesiology
